Charging the battery
Only use the enclosed power supply unit and charging cable to charge the
battery. Incompatible power supply units can damage the instrument!
Connect the power supply unit to the MC20 and charge the battery for about
eight hours before using for the first time. The instrument is then ready for
operation and can be used.

Charging controller
Please never carry out any unauthorised work on the battery or the
instrument. This could cause irreparable damage to the instrument!

The instrument is equipped with a charging controller.
This detects automatically whether the battery needs
recharging. An acoustic warning signal is sounded if
the battery capacity is too low. The charging process is
displayed graphically. The charging controller ends the
process automatically when the battery is fully
charged.
The battery is built into the MC20 and is designed for
long life.
