Do not allow hands, feet, or any other part of the body nor clothing near the rotating tines
or any other moving part.
2.
The tines begin to rotate forward once the switch trigger is pressed.
3.
The tines continue to rotate until the switch trigger is released. failure to avoid contact
could cause serious personal injury.
STARTING THE TILLER/CULTIVATOR (FIG. 6)
To start the motor:
1.
Plug the tiller/cultivator into an approved outdoor extension cord.
2.
Press the safety lock-out button (1) and press the bail switch (2) against the handle bar to
begin the rotation. Release the safety lock-out button while continuing to hold upward on
bail switch to continue use.
To stop the motor:
Release the bail switch to stop the tiller/cultivator. Allow sufficient time for the rotating parts to
come to a complete stop.
