DVI-D signals with resolutions of up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz over one multimode fiber optic cable with SC connectors. The 614T converts the DVI-D signal to an optical signal that it transmits to the 614R. The 614R decodes the optical signals back to a single link DVI-D signal.
Your 614T/614R pair comes with two 5V DC power adapters. The 614R module must always be powered by the power adapter. The 614T can be powered either by an external power adapter or internally by the 5V pin on the DVI card of the computer.
The factory default EDID is set to UXGA (1600x1200). If your display has this resolution, you do not need to capture the EDID. You can capture the EDID of the display device on the 614T so that when the computer connects to the 614T, it reads the virtual EDID information and identifies the display device.
Section 4.1). 2. Plug the 614T DVI connector directly to the DVI connector of the computer. Do not use any intermediate cable or adapter between them. 3. Connect the 614R to the 5V DC power adapter and connect the adapter to the mains electricity.
7. If the transmitter does not power up, connect the 5V power adapter to the 614T transmitter, and connect the adapter to the mains electricity. You can use the power supplied through a DVI pin from the graphic cards instead of using the power adapter.
