TCP/IP, RS-232, and IR Control

KD-IP922 systems may be controlled via TCP/IP, RS-232, or IR:

Each KD-IP922 unit may receive system commands (ie. matrix switching)

Each KD-IP922 unit may receive unit-specific commands (ie. audio DSP and video wall

commands)

Any unit-specific command received is forwarded to the appropriate unit

As with other Key Digital products, a full Help (set/listing of all possible commands to send

the Enterprise AV system) and Status (get/feedback of current system status) is possible.

RS-232 connection protocol:

Baud Rate = 57600 bits per second

Data Bits = 8

Stop Bits = 1

Parity = None

Flow Control = None

Carriage Return: Required

Line Feed: Required

Control notes:

Commands are not case-sensitive

Spaces are shown for clarity; commands should NOT have any spaces

Carriage return and line feed is required at the end of each string

If a new command is received, a confirmation is transmitted from the unit

Help Command (H) returns entire API in readable format:
