e) Choose CONFIGURATION » NEW SWITCHER

i) Enter desired system file name

ii) Recommended Starting Group ID is 1 (group ID for first Encoder)

(1) If multiple switcher systems exist on the same network, they should have

unique starting Group ID

iii) Enter desired number of Input and Outputs according to the number of physical

units currently connected

(1) System file is easily updated if additional units will be added/removed in

the future

iv) Press OK to advance to IP System Editor window

Drag scanned devices from Network Devices window to the desired Input / Output

assignment in the IP System Editor window

g) After providing all Input/Output assignment, press Link button to finalize assignments

h) Press Save button

Press Load button to the virtual matrix file

i) At top of Device list (default) you may select ALL UNITS for automatic loading to

each encoder and decoder, one-by-one.

(1) The process is long, but requires only one button press for entire system.

ii) Beneath ALL UNITS, each unit will be individually itemized in case a replacement

unit is being inserted to existing system and it requires the loaded file.
