Removal and replacement preliminary
requirements
Tools required
You will need the following tools to complete the removal and replacement procedures:

Phillips 00 screw driver
●
Two plastic spudger tools
Torx T5 screw driver
●

Heat protective gloves
●
Hot plate (heats to 80.0° C (176.0° F))
●
Stand or way to secure the display
●
70 percent isopropyl alcohol
●
2 inch suction cup
●
0.05 mm thermal conductivity adhesive tape (heat tape)
Grounding tape
●
●
Compressed air
●
Lint- and static-free cloths

Service considerations
The following sections include some of the considerations that you must keep in mind during disassembly
and assembly procedures.
NOTE:
As you remove each subassembly from the device, place the subassembly (and all accompanying
screws) away from the work area to prevent damage.
