SNMPv1 Trap Settings

This page contains settings for network hosts that will receive SNMPv1 traps. Up to 20 trap
recipients can be enabled and configured. Like the SNMPv3 pages, the setting for each target may be
reached by clicking on the links in the Detail portion of the page or by clicking on the folders for the
trap targets. Also, data shown in the table may be changed by clicking on the link above the table.
SNMPv1 Trap Settings
• SNMP Trap Target Addresses—Configure network hosts that will receive alert notifications (i.e.,
SNMP Traps). The host can be identified as either an IP address or the host's network name.
• SNMP Trap Port—Port used by the target host for receiving notifications; default is 162.
• SNMP Trap Community String—String identifying a 'secret' known only by those hosts that want
to be notified of device status changes.
