1 CAMERA connector (triax connector)
Connect a BVP-700/750/500/550-series Color
Video Camera using a triax cable. All of the
signals of the BVP-700/750/500/550-series, such
as the power, control, video, and audio, can be
connected using a single triax cable.
The camera connector block comes in several
interchangeable types. By simply changing the
connector block, you can use any type of triax
cable with this unit.
2 MIC OUTPUT (microphone output)
connectors (XLR 3-pin)
Supply the microphone signals from the video
camera.
3 RET1 through RET4 (return video 1 through
4 input) connectors (BNC type)
Accept the return video signals from four different
systems. To select RET 1 and RET 2, use the
buttons on the BVP-700/750/500/550-series
camera. To select RET 3 and RET 4, use external
equipment such as a return box.

Note
When an optional BKP-7312 SDI input board is
installed, nothing should be connected to the RET
1 and RET 2 connectors in the ANALOG INPUT
block.
4 REFERENCE (reference signal input)
connectors (BNC type)
Accept a reference signal such as a black burst
signal for external synchronization.
5 PROMPTER (prompter signal input)
connectors (BNC type)
Accept the signals for a teleprompter.
6 R, G, and B (R, G, and B signal output)
connectors (BNC type)
Supply the R, G, and B signals for the chroma
keyer from each connector.
7 Y, R–Y, and B–Y (component video signal
output) connectors (BNC type)
Supply the Y, R–Y, and B–Y signals from each
connector. Connect a digital VTR or a video
switcher conforming to a component video signals.
