Rack-mountable
The CCU-700A/700AP is three units high and can
be mounted in a 19-inch EIA standard rack.
For details on rack mounting, refer to the System
Manual.
Plug-in type configuration
The CCU-700A/700AP is designed so that the
circuit boards can be easily inserted and removed
to facilitate easy inspection and maintenance.
Connection with a coaxial cable
The CCU-700A/700AP can use a coaxial cable for
connecting signals instead of a triax cable if power
supply to the camera through the cable is not
required.
Microphone input level control
You can control the microphone input level on the
camera via the MIC REMOTE connector or with
the switch on the internal AT board.
Intercom control
The producer, engineer, or private line intercoms
are selectable via the INTERCOM REMOTE
connector.
Camera number output
The CCU-700A/700AP outputs the camera number
of the BVP-700/750/500/550-series connected to
the CCU-700A/700AP through the INTERCOM
REMOTE connector.
Red tally, green tally, and call signal output
The CCU-700A/700AP supplies red tally, green
tally, tally, and call signals from the INTERCOM
REMOTE and MIC REMOTE connectors.
Monochrome/color serial digital video
signal conversion
When the BKP-7311 and BKP-7312 are installed
in the CCU-700A/700AP, the input serial digital
return video signal is converted into either a
monochrome or color analog video signal. The
switch on the front panel of the BKP-7311 selects
into which signal the input signal is converted.
Serial digital video signal connection cable
extendable up to 200 m (656 feet)
A coaxial cable for connecting a serial digital
video signal can be extended to up to 200 meters
when a 5C-2V (RG-6A/U) cable is used.
