MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

• Always maintain the machine and accessories in perfect working
condition.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for greater safety.
• Cleaning or servicing the mower should not be started before
having stopped the engine and removed the security key.
• To prevent the engine from starting accidentally, remove the
security key during servicing operations.
• The spare blades must only be fitted on machines for which they are
designed, in accordance with the instructions.
• The use of none genuine parts could effect the performance of the
product, or raise the risk of injury to yourself. Always use original
parts only.
RESPONSABILITY
• In the event of any use not in accordance with the relevant
instruction booklet, ETESIA can accept no liability.
Do not dump your grass clippings in unauthorized areas.
• You must not make any modifications to the mower without the
prior approval of ETESIA.

BEFORE STARTING THE MOTOR
• Read all the usage and maintenance instructions of the battery-
powered mower. Failure to follow these instructions can result in
serious or even fatal injuries.
• Obtain good understanding of the risks associated with the use
of the machine, injuries potentially caused by these risks, and
precautions to take in order to avoid them.
• To ensure a troubleless long service life for your motor, perform
maintenance and appropriate care indicated in this manual.
• Always keep this manual at hand so you can refer to it any time you
need information.
WARNINGS
PA362E - Rechargeable N-ERGY Li-Ion 36 V / 21 Ah storage cell
(separately available)
a) Do not dismantle, open or tear the cells or batteries of storage cells.
b) Do not expose the batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage under
direct sunlight.
c) Do not short-circuit a cell or battery. Do not haphazardly store the
batteries in a box or drawer where they can get short-circuited with
each other or other metal objects.
d) Do not remove batteries from their original packaging until it is
not necessary to use them.
e) Do not subject batteries to mechanical shocks.
f) In the event of a cell leak, be careful not to allow the liquid to
come into contact with the skin or eyes. If this is the case, wash the
affected area with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
g) Do not use any charger other than the one provided specifically for
use with the device.
h) Regard the plus [+] and minus [-] marks on the cell, the battery
and the device and ensure that they are correctly used.
i) Do not use cells or storage batteries not designed to be used with
the device.

• Any modification not authorized by ETESIA could render the
machine dangerous and lead to serious injury during use. ETESIA
shall accept no responsibility if these instructions are not followed.
IDENTIFICATION OF THE MOWER
• The serial number of your mower is on the identification label on
your mower.
• Always give this number to your dealer for all servicing on your
mower.
• You will only be ready to use this mower after you read the safety
instructions. Read completely this manual for the using and the
servicing of the mower.
j) Do not mix cell with different fabrication, capacity, size, or type
inside a device.
k) Keep the cells and storage batteries out of reach of children.
l) Immediately seek medical advice if a cell or a battery is swallowed.
m) Always purchase cells or batteries appropriate to the device.
n) Keep the cells and batteries dry and clean.
o) Wipe cell and battery terminals using a dry and clean cloth if they
become dirty.
p) It is necessary to charge the cells and storage batteries before
use. Always use the suitable charger and refer to manufacturer's
instructions or device manual for charging instructions that apply.
q) Do not keep batteries charging for long when not in use.
r) After long periods of storage, it may be necessary to repeatedly
charge and discharge the cells or storage batteries in order to obtain
maximum performance.
s) Keep the original documents related to the product for future
reference.
t) Only use the cell or storage battery for their intended application.
u) If possible, remove the battery from the device when not in use.
v) Properly dispose.
CA362E - Charger for rechargeable N-ERGY PA362E storage
cell (separately available)
a) Read the instructions before charging.
b) CA362E charger is only intended for indoor use. Do not expose
to rain.
c) The CA362E charger is only designed to recharge the rechargeable
N-ERGY PA362E storage cell. It automatically controls the
charging
d) Warning! The charger should not be used to recharge non-
rechargeable batteries.
e) Regularly examine the battery charger, especially the cables, plugs
and the casing for detecting any kind of damage. If the battery
charger is damaged, it should not be used until repaired.
