The
solenoid is
driven
by the
PEN
UP
signal PBO
and the
PEN
DOWN signal PB I
that
is sent to
the
drive circuit via
the 1/0
port.
I) TI1e high
state of
the
PB! signal,
TS and
T7
actuates
to
turn
the
solenoid(-
) terminal
GND
level.
Actuation of
tl1e
TS causes T6 to actuate to tum the
solenoid(+)
tenninal VM level
(about
+6V)
and drive the solenoid of
lower
the pen to
start
printing.
2) The high
state of the
PB!
signal,
T2 and
T4
actuates
to turn tl1e
solenoid(+) terminal GND level.
Actuation of tl1e T2
causes T3
to actuate to tum the
solenoid(-
) terminal VM level
(about
+6V)
and drive
the
solenoid
to
lift
up tile
pen
to stop
rinting.
