Place the hard drive to the hard drive tray. Make sure The hard drive can
be SAS or SCSI depending on your motherboard. The hard drive may not
completely fi ll the tray. See Figure 6-11 for details.
5.
Secure the hard drive to the carrier with four screws from the bottom.
6.
Slide the hard drive into the chassis until the carrier clicks into place.
7.
Repeat these steps for each hard drive carrier.
Warning: Except for short periods of time (swapping hard drives), do

not operate the server with the hard drive carriers removed.
