Introduction

AT&T activeARC
Series access points are designed for performance
®
in small business environments. The ARC1000MAP is a single band
IEEE802.11b/g/n access point (AP). This AP can be FAT (stand-
alone intelligent APs) or FIT (controlled by the active500EM).
This flexibility gives businesses the ability to manage their data
networking infrastructure; creating efficiency and performance.
Performance
Data networks need to perform better in light of the growing
demand for connection, security, and performance at the wireless
edge of the network. Wireless access points must handle the initial
demand for Wi-Fi
connectivity as smart devices flood business
®
environments. The AT&T activeARC
ARC1000 intelligent access
®
point enables IT staff with management tools and features to meet
the growing needs of network users.
The AT&T activeARC
Series access point supports up to 32 performance users and load balances those users across various
®
frequency bands to ensure optimal resource use. Moreover, a business can set different levels of user access rights, as well as rate limit
a user by MAC and IP address. Flexible and feature-rich, the ARC1000 AP is a performance tool at the edge of the computer network.
