Setting up Static WEP security configuration

If WEP is your required security method, select Static WEP from the drop-down list. Once Static WEP is selected, the user can choose
Transfer key index, Key Length and Type, and even Authentication method (Open system or Shared key) during the configuration
process. Figure 1.17 shows the WEP setting with a Static WEP setting. Provide the WEP keys to the client in order to pass the
authentication or the decryption packet.

WEP Keys
Enter the WEP keys (up to four
entries).
Authentication
Select the authentication mode.

Setting up WPA Personal security configuration

Select the security configuration as WPA Personal from the drop-down list. Once WPA is selected, the user can select more detailed
security settings. In this secondary box, as shown in Figure 1.18, users can select various types of encryption methods and broadcast
refresh rates. The key, as noted below, should be provided to the client for authentication.
