9. Route the harness in the rear side of the scanner.

Do not connect the harness at this time. It will be connected in a later procedure.

11. Scanner rear cover (page 4-11).
12. Exposure Glass (page 4-30).
13. Move the carriage to the center.
14. Attach the bracket [A] to the left side of the scanner.
