Fault/malfunction
Motor will not start.
Cutting equipment runs while
motor is idling.
Cutting equipment continues
to run after throttle has been
released.
Motor will not reach its maximum
speed.

Cause
Is the tank empty?
Is ignition switch set to "STOP"?
Ignition cable plug loose?
Ignition cable plug dirty?
Is there excess fuel inside the
combustion chamber?
Spark plug dirty?
Is the distance between the
electrodes of the spark plug
too large?
Wrong fuel or mixture?
Spark plug defective?
Wrong setting for idling?
Clutch set incorrectly?
Spark plug dirty?
Is the electrode separation of
the spark plug too large?
Wrong fuel?

Remedy
Filling with fuel
Set ignition switch to "ON".
the spark plug.
Clean the plug.
Push choke lever to
start the motor a few times.
If the motor will not
start: remove the spark
plug and dry the electrode.
Clean the spark plug
Set the gap to 0.6 to
0.7 mm.
with the correct mixture.
Cleaning/replacing
the spark plug
Contact service partner.
