– Drain the tank
– Start the motor and keep it running until it
stops of its own accord.
– Let the appliance cool down completely.
– Remove the spark plug.
– 1 teaspoon of two-stroke motor oil should be
fed into the combustion chamber.
– Slowly pull the starter cord several times to coat
the internal components with the oil.
– Re-insert the spark plug.
Store the appliance in a dry place and far away
from any ignition sources such as furnaces, gas
heaters, etc.
Store the machine where it is dry.
Transport
– Slip the protection cover over the cutting
equipment.
– Let the appliance cool down completely.
– Drain the tank
– Secure the appliance against slipping.
– If shipping, use the original packaging wherever
possible.

10. Disposal

Risk of fire or environmental damage!
Avoid damage caused by leaking fuel:
drain the tank prior to disposal.
Attention !
This appliance must not be disposed of with
regular household waste! Dispose of the
appliance in the appropriate manner. For more
information, consult your community waste
disposal service.
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and
correspondingly marked sheets that can be
recycled.
