Interoperability

Do not mix PPCs with PSCs, PSC2s, or PSC3s since this prevents the other cards from operating at full potential. Due
to the different processor speeds and memory configurations, the PPC cannot be combined in a chassis with other packet
processing card types.

Redundancy

The PPC is fully redundant with a spare PPC.
