MicroSD cards
Using the microSD card reader
Optional microSD cards provide secure data storage and convenient data sharing. These cards are often used
with digital media-equipped cameras and PDAs as well as with other computers.
Your tablet has read/write support for SDXC microSD cards up to 2 TB.
Inserting a microSD card
CAUTION:
microSD card.
1.
Lift the cover (1) on the left edge of the tablet.
2.
Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot (2), and then press in on the microSD card until it is
firmly seated.
You will hear a sound when the device has been detected, and a menu of options may be displayed.
Removing a microSD card
CAUTION:
safely remove the microSD card.
1.
Save your information and close all programs associated with the microSD card.
2.
Select the remove hardware icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar, and then follow
the on-screen instructions.
3.
Lift the cover on the left edge of the tablet, and then press in gently to remove the microSD card.
