    Components Locating hardware To find out what hardware is installed on your computer: Type device manager in the taskbar search box, and then select the Device Manager app. ▲ A list displays all the devices installed on your computer. For information about system hardware components and the system BIOS version number, press fn+esc (select products only).

    Labels The labels affixed to the tablet provide information you may need when you troubleshoot system problems or travel internationally with the tablet. IMPORTANT: The labels described in this section are located on the back of the display. ● Service label—Provides important information to identify your tablet. When contacting support, you will probably be asked for the serial number, and possibly for the product number or the model number.

    Backing up your information Recovery after a system failure is as good as your most recent backup. You should create system repair media and your initial backup immediately after initial system setup. As you add new software and data files, you should continue to back up your system on a regular basis to maintain a reasonably current backup.
