Simple FAX Transmission

The following is an explanation of procedures for simple FAX transmission using quick memory
transmission.
DETAILS
Although the explanation here covers the procedure for sending a one-sided document using
the basic procedure, various functions are available for each step of the procedure to make
sending facsimiles even more convenient. Refer to the sections from "Placing the Original on
the Machine" to "Selecting a Remote Station" for further details.

Press [FAX] on the control panel to open the FAX Basic
screen.
2.
Press ORIGINAL MODE and then set the function.
The original document setting in the FAX Basic screen is set as follows at the time of
purchase.
• Quality.................................. Text
• Density ................................. Auto
• RADF ................................... One sided
• Resolution ............................ Fine
• Verification Stamp................ None
