DV-520NG Fireplace VENTING INSTALLATION NOTE: Use venting components and termination supplied by the Archgard. Exhaust (inner) vent is 4” aluminum flex and intake (outer) vent is either aluminum flex or rigid 7” pipe. Apply an even bead of approved high temperature sealant to the outside crimped area of the 4” fireplace vent connector. -

DV-520NG Fireplace VENTING ROUTES AND COMPONENTS Since it is very important that the vent system maintain its balance between the combustion air intake and the flue gas exhaust, certain limitations as to vent configurations apply and must be strictly adhered to. Fig. 5 shows the relationship between vertical and horizontal ventings and shows maximum vent lengths. -

DV-520NG Fireplace GLASS / FRAME ASSEMBLY REMOVAL Remove upper and lower grille assemblies by lifting and then pulling them straight out. Release the glass frame clamps, located on the bottom of the firebox. Then lift the glass frame out until the lower retainer clips are clear of the bottom edge of the firebox, approximately 1 inch, and and then lift the door frame off, clear of the unit. -
