Setting the water quantity
 Turn the info button clockwise until
"Wasser:..." or "Water:..." is displayed.
 Shortly press the info button - display
blinks.
 Set the water quantity by turning the
info button. The number of black bars
indicates the water quantity.
 Press the info button to confirm the set
value.
Setting the Vacuum Bar
Oblique position
To improve the vacuuming result on tiled
floors the vacuum bar can be turned to an
oblique position of up to 5°.
 Release the wing nuts.
 Turn the vacuum bar.
 Tighten the wing nuts.
Inclination
If the vacuum result is unsatisfactory the in-
clination of the straight vacuum bar can be
modified.
 Release the wing nuts.
 Tilt the vacuum bar.
 Tighten the wing nuts.
Lower the vacuum bar
 Turn the lever downwards; the vacuum
bar is lowered and the suction turbine is
switched on.
Note
If the dirt water reservoir is full, the suction
turbine switches off automatically.
 Empty the dirt water reservoir.
 Turn the key switch to "0", wait for a few
seconds and then turn it to "1".
You can now switch on the suction tur-
bine.
Setting the brush speed
 Turn the info button clockwise until
"FACT" is displayed.
 Shortly press the info button - display
blinks.
 Set the brush speed by turning the info
button.
"...Power" - high speed (100%).
"...Whisper" - medium speed (60%).
"...Fine" - low speed (40%).
Press the info button to confirm the set
value.
 Press the info button to confirm the set
value.
Switching on the cleaning head
Warning!
Risk of damage to the floor covering. Do
not operate the appliance on the spot.
 Press down the pedal up to raise/lower
the cleaning head, move it to the left
and let it go up.
The cleaning head is lowered and starts
automatically.
Adjust the brush contact pressure
Danger
Risk of injury due to fast-moving lever for
adjusting the brush contact pressure. Ad-
just the lever for adjusting the brush contact
pressure only when the cleaning head is
lowered.
 Adjust the brush contact pressure at the
lever.
Note
Carry out initial cleaning attempts with low
contact pressure. Slowly increase the con-
tact pressure till the desired cleaning result
is achieved. Correctly set contact pressure
saves power and wear and tear of the
brushes.
The brush drive is switched off when there
is overload.

Warning
Floors can get damaged on account of too
high contact pressure. Carry out the initial
polishing attempts with less contact pres-
sure. Increase the contact pressure as per
requirements until the desired polishing re-
sult is achieved.
Turning on/off WDB
WDB = Attachment set for spray suction
Note
Is applicable only in connection with option-
al attachment set for spray suction.
 Turn the info button clockwise until
"WDB-Funktion" or "WDB-Function" is
displayed.
 Shortly press the info button - display
blinks.
 Select "ON" or "OFF" by turning the info
button.
Stand-by
If the operational break exceeds 30 min-
utes, the machine goes into stand-by
mode. To restart the machine, turn the key
switch briefly to "0" and then turn it again to
"1".
Shutting Down the Appliance
 Release driving lever.
 Lift the cleaning head.
 Raise the vacuum bar.
The suction turbine will continue to run
for 5 more seconds to suck off residual
water from the vacuum bar and the vac-
uum hose.
 Activate immobilising brake.
 Turn key to "0" and remove it.
 Secure the appliance against inadvert-
ent movement when parking on in-
clines.
