If one of the following messages appear on screen:

"Results from last delay calibration: Failed" or
"Results from last delay calibration: Defaulted" or
"Results from last delay calibration: Aborted",
go to "To perform the self-calibration," page 4-25 steps 6 through 9,
then continue to steps below.
The first message means that the most recent calibration of the horizontal
delay subsystem failed.
The second message means that the default horizontal delay calibration
factors have been loaded.
The third message means that the default horizontal delay calibration factors
have been aborted.
Cycle the power of the oscilloscope.

If default delay calibration factors are loaded and error messages

remain, contact your HP service center for diagnosis and repair.
If either of these messages appear on screen:

"Channel 1 Acquisition Memory Failed" or
"Channel 2 Acquisition Memory Failed"
The first message means an error has developed in the Acquisition memory
for channel 1, contact your HP service center for diagnosis and repair.
The second message means an error has developed in the Acquisition
memory for channel 2, contact your HP service center for diagnosis and
repair.
Continue with step 3 "To check out the oscilloscope" on page 4–34.
