Channel

Channel line up settings and auto scan.

TV Source

Set to Cable if TV signal source is from a cable system. This applies to most in house systems as
well. Set to Air if TV signal is from an off air antenna.
NOTE: Most in house systems that receive local channel from an off air antenna convert the off air
signals to Cable signal. In these cases TV should be set to Cable. Check with your TV
system administrator to determine which setting to use.

Auto Scan

Automatically scans all channels for active channel and add to the channel list. Select the scan
methods and press to right arrow button to start Auto Scan. Scanning for digital channels will take
several minutes.
Scan all channels
Digital channel only
Analog channel only
When scanning for all channels the TV will first scan all channels for digital channels and then scan all channels for
analog channels. Digital scanning will take several minutes.
To exit without starting a scan press the "ESC" key. You can also exit a scan once it has started using the "ESC"
key however, all channels will be erased.

Bank

Bank editing. This screen allows you to adjust the channel line up in each bank after an Auto Scan has been run.
Use the up/down arrow buttons to select the channel to add or delete. Use the right/left arrow buttons to select the
bank to add to or delete from. Press the "ENTER" button to add or delete the channel. An "X" indicated the channel
has been added. A "*" indicates the channel has been deleted.
Show/Hide &
Use this menu to enable/disable channels and to add channels to the EDU (Education
EDU
Channel) list. EDU is also called FAV (Favorites) on some models.

An "X" in the ON/OFF column indicates the channel is turned on. An "X" in the EDU column indicates the
channel has been added to the EDU list.

NOTE: Channels in the EDU list can be quickly accessed by pressing the EDU or FAV button. A list of channels in
the EDU list will be displayed. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select the desired channel. The highlighted
channel will be shown behind the menu. Press the "ENTER" button to exit.

CH No.

Shows current channel. Use the Left/Right arrow button to change channel without leaving the OSD menu. Use this
to change channels when entering channel labels.

Label

Shows and changes the channel label that appears when a channel is tuned to. To change the label

DTV Signal

Shows signal level when tuned to a digital channel.
Scans all channels (1-135) for both analog and viewable digital channels. Adds all
channels found to the channel lineup.
Scans all channels (1-135) for viewable digital channels. Adds all channels found to the
channel lineup. Analog channels will not be added to the lineup.
Scans all channels (1-135) for analog channels. Adds all channels found to the channel
lineup. Digital channels will not be added to the lineup.
NOTE:
Press the Right arrow button to enter the Show/Hide & EDU.
Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select the channel to change.
Use the left right arrow buttons to select ON/OFF or EDU
Press the "ENTER" button to change.
When finished press the "SETUP" button to exit.
Select the channel using the CH No. Line.
Press the right arrow button.
Use the left/right arrow button to select the character to edit. Use the up/down arrow buttons to change
the character.
When finished press the "SETUP" button.
NOTE: When a digital channel is select the broadcast channel label will show. Use the above procedure to
enter a custom label. Once a custom label is entered it will be used in place of the broadcast label.
