The Android™ operating system is updated via a USB flash drive. To update:
Software
Updates
1.
Insert a USB flash drive containing the OS update file into the rear of side USB port. NOTE:
you can not use the SW-update port next to the HDMI port on the rear jack panel.

Select or click on the Settings app.
3.
Select or click on Upgrade.
Select or click on the "From usb storage" button.
4.
System will validate the upgrade software and then install it. This will take approximately 8 minutes.
When the update is finished the system will reboot. Only one flash drive can be plugged into the set
during Android upgrade.
White Board
You can leave messages in the White Board on the right side of the home screen. To add or change a

The White Board can be used to play a video also. The video must be located on a USB flash drive or

optional hard drive. To setup the White Board to play a video:

The file will now play in the White Board area anytime the White Board is displayed. To return the
White Board to message format.

Logo Setting
A logo can be displayed below the White Board. The logo file must be a picture file and located on a
USB flash drive or optional SSD. To select the file to display in the logo area:

Select or click on the White Board.
Select Administrator or Visitor. For Administrator you must enter the administrator
password. Default is 12363.
Enter message using a keyboard or left click in the White Board to bring up the virtual
keyboard.
Press the "BACK" button or right click when finished.
Access the Setting app. See page 29.
Select Launcher settings.
Scroll down to Video setting under Notes Video setting and press "ENTER" The Notes
setting box on the right will be un-checked and the Video setting box will be checked.
Scroll down one line to Media Path. Press "ENTER"
Select the storage source where the file is located. (USB or hard drive) Press "ENTER"
Select the file to play. Press "ENTER"
NOTE: Only video files can be selected. Selected video will play in an endless loop.
Access the Setting app. See page 29.
Select Launcher settings.
Scroll down to Notes setting under Notes Video setting and press "ENTER" The Notes
setting box on the right will be checked and the Video setting box will be un-checked.

Select Launcher settings. Press "ENTER".
Scroll down to Logo setting below Icon Setting. Press "ENTER".
Select the storage source where the file is located. (USB or hard drive) Press "ENTER".
