ADJUSTMENT
1.
Connect
a
digital
voltmeter to TP-6.
2.
Adjust
VR104
to
obtain the
color
bar
arrange-
ment shown
in Fig.
10-7.
3.
Slowly turn
VR104
counter
closkwise,
and
re-
cord the
TP-6
voltage
C
when
noise
becomes
apparent
in
the
color
bars.
4.
Next
turn
VR104
slowly clockwise,
and
again
record the
TP-6
voltage
D
when
noise
becomes
apparent
in
the
bars.
5.
Finally adjust
VR104
to obtain the
TP-6
voltage
which
is
half
way
between
voltages
C
and
D.

HORIZONTAL
POSITION
ADJUSTMENT
1.
Press
the
COMP
key
to
display
the
computer
mode
screen with the color bar
output
(see
Fig.
10-7).
2.
Then
press
the
SUPERIMPOSE
key
to obtain
a
composite
display.
Compare
the color bars
in
this
composite
screen
with the
color bars
in
the
previous
computer
mode
screen,
and
adjust
VR102
during the
composite
screen display
to
keep
the
color
bar displacement
in
the horizon-
tal
direction
within the
width
of the
narrow
color
bar
(see
Fig.
10-8).

1.
Connect
a
frequency counter
to
TP-7.
2.
Set the
monitor
TV
to
video
input.
3.
Run
the
sample program
shown
in
Fig.
10-5
for
output
color bars
on
the
TV
screen.
4.
After
first
pressing
the
SUPERIMPOSE
key
to
switch
PX-7
to
composite
screen
display, press
the
COMP
key
to switch to
computer mode.
5.
Adjust
TC101
to
obtain a reading of
4.433600
MHz
±20Hz
in
the
frequency
counter.
