5. Start-up

How to start up the drive

WARNING! The start-up may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The safety instructions given in chapter
during the start-up procedure.
The drive will start up automatically at power up if the external run command is on
and the drive is in the remote control mode.
Check that the starting of the motor does not cause any danger. De-couple the
driven machine if there is a risk of damage in case of incorrect direction of rotation.
Note: By default, parameter
and you cannot see all actual signals and parameters. To be able to view them, set
parameter 1611 PARAMETER VIEW to 3 (LONG VIEW).

How you start up the drive depends on the control panel you have.
• If you have a Basic Control Panel, follow the instructions given in section
