• Tires are subject to wear. If a tire becomes defective due to a
defect in material or workmanship, the amount of remaining
tread will be established by your authorized Porsche dealer by
means of measuring the tread groove nearest to the center of
the tire. A credit will be allowed against the purchase of a new
tire. The amount of credit will be equal to the percentage of the
original tread depth remaining, multiplied by the then current
suggested retail price of the new tire.
Genuine Porsche parts, exchange units and accessoires are
the recommended replacement parts for your Porsche and are
available at your authorized Porsche dealer. All m e e t the s a m e exac-
ting quality control standards as the original equipment on the c a r .
When you purchase genuine Porsche parts, exchange units or
accessories, you have the assurance that the material and instal-
lation have been tested by Porsche and found to conform to all
applicable safety standards.
Porsche parts and accessories are warranted by Porsche to
be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period
of 12 months regardless of mileage.
This warranty applies only to genuine Porsche parts, exchange
units and accessories and does not apply to other non-genuine
parts and accessories.
Consult your Porsche dealer for details. Also ask your dealer about
remanufactured parts under the Porsche exchange service. Re-
manufactured parts cost less than new parts but carry the same
warranty.
