Programming the SCAN Feature

You Do
1. Press the SCAN button and hold for
approximately 2-3 seconds.
2. Use the Talkgroup/Zone selector
knob to scroll through the
Talkgroup/Zone list.
3. Press the SELECT (SEL) button
to turn SCAN on for that Talkgroup.
4. Press the SELECT button again to
turn SCAN off for that Talkgroup.
5. When you have completed your
selected SCAN list, press SCAN to
save selections and return to normal
operating mode.

The Mobile Radio Does
The display will show a flashing list
view icon [
the list programming mode. A small
flashing arrow also points to the SCAN
button.
The display shows the Talkgroup/
Zone selected.
The display will show the SCAN
symbol [
The SCAN symbol [
on the display.
The list view programming icon is no
longer on the display.
The display returns to the Talkgroup
you had selected when you pressed the
SCAN button to begin programming.
The SCAN feature is automatically
turned ON.
