Problem
I want to correct a shift in the print position.

General

Problem
The machine does not turn on.
The indicators show that the machine is
in boot mode (operating system error).
Solution
Adjust the print position with the "Printer Setting
Tool".
For Windows
1 Start "Printer Setting Tool".
Windows Vista
Click
[Label & Mobile Printer] - [Printer Setting
Tool].
Windows
Click the [Printer Setting Tool] icon on the
[Apps] screen.
2 After the main window appears, click [Device
settings].
3 Change the setting for [Print Position
Adjustment].
For Mac
Change the setting in [Print Position Adjustment]
of the device settings.
Solution
Is the power cord inserted correctly?
Make sure that the power cord is inserted correctly. If it is,
try plugging it into a different power outlet.
Make sure you are using a genuine Brother power cord.
If the power indicator still does not light up, contact your
reseller or Brother Customer Service for assistance.
The power cord was unplugged while the firmware was
being updated, and the machine started up in boot mode
the next time it was started.
This issue must be resolved. Contact your reseller or
Brother Customer Service for assistance.
