1.24 Carrier Transport Motor, Main Shaft, Timing Belt, and Carrier ASSY

(1) Move the carrier to the center of its travel (in the direction of arrow •).
(2) Remove the spring cuff.
(3) While pressing the idle pulley holder to the right (in the direction of arrow ‚), remove the
timing belt from the carrier transport motor pulley (arrow ƒ). Then remove the timing belt
from the idle pulley (arrow „).
(4) Remove the two screws from the carrier transport motor and take it off the frame chassis as
shown on the next page.
