INITIALIZE ALL
Same as in SERVICE MODE.
4.4.2.2
S/N WRITE & RGB(SXM) TERMINAL CHK
Mode for writing serial number.
In this mode, in order to also check electricity of all terminals of
RGB connector, video and audio selectors are fi xed to RGB ter-
minal.
(1) When this mode is selected, carry out the following pro-
cesses.
• Configure the NAVI communication terminal's serial set-
ting to the setting for serial writing.
• Set the video selector to RGB input.
• Set the audio selector to NAVI.
The display is switched to RGB and the image input from
the jig is displayed.
*The operator knows, by seeing the image switched, the
set is ready for serial writing.
(2) From hereafter, communication with the jig does not up-
date the display.
Display on the jig application indicates the status.
(3) When received from the jig "request for ending serial writ-
ing mode", follow the process below.
• Set the NAVI communication terminal's serial setting
back to the normal operation setting.
• Set the video selector back to the original setting.
• Set the audio selector back to the original setting.
• Switch the display to the following GUI display.
Read the serial number written in and display in the fol-
lowing screen.

S/N WRITE & RGB(SXM) TERMINAL CHK
Mode for writing serial number.
As this mode is also used for performing electrical check of all
terminals of Sxi connectors, fix the audio selector to the Sxi ter-
minal side.
*General Sxi operation is not guaranteed after this mode is se-
lected.
(1) When this mode is selected, carry out the following pro-
cesses.
• Set Sxi serial terminal setting to that for writing Serial No.
• Set POWER_EN terminal to Low output.
• Set audio selector to the Sxi side.

• Set video selector to the RGB input side. (This is conse-
quently set to the mecha side since there is no RGB in-
put.)
Since there is no RGB input in this case, display switches
from
consequently to the mecha side to display video input
from mecha.
*The operator knows, by seeing the image switched, the
set is ready for serial writing.
(2) From hereafter, communication with the jig does not up-
date the display.
Display on the jig application indicates the status.
(3) When received from the jig "request for ending serial writ-
ing mode", follow the process below.
• Set the NAVI communication terminal's serial setting
back to the normal operation setting.
• Set POWER_EN terminal to High output.
• Set the audio selector back to the original setting.
• Switch the display to the following GUI display. (Read the
serial number written in and display in the following
screen.)
4.4.2.4
MONITOR ADJUSTMENT MODE
Mode for adjusting the image quality on the production line.
Display the following.
In this case, regardless of the current source, set Video selector
to AV-IN (external input), and display the external input video in
the background.
(This is for adjustment by inputting composite signal in a white
image from an external pattern generator.)
Restore the Video selector to the original state when exiting this
adjustment mode.
• As adjustment is performed while pressing the sensor of the
measuring instrument against the center of the monitor, dis-
play the adjustment button and STORE button on the Aright
side of the screen.
Adjustment items are only 3 items, Drive R/G/B only, and press-
ing the STORE button writes the adjustment value into F. ROM.
