Problem
Coff ee does not run through

Possible causes
• Machine is not turned on or plugged in
• Water tank is empty
Button has not been pressed
• Coff ee grind is too fi ne
• Too much coff ee in the fi lter
• The fi lter is blocked
• Coff ee grind is too coarse
• Not enough coff ee in the fi lter
• Filter holder is not inserted in the brew head properly
• There are coff ee grounds around the fi lter rim
• Too much coff ee in the fi lter
• Coff ee has been tamped too tightly
• The water tank is empty or low
• Coff ee grind is too fi ne
• Machine is blocked by mineral deposits
• Water tank is empty or low
• Water tank is not securely in place
• Coff ee grind is not fi ne enough (use coff ee ground for
espresso machines)
• Machine not preheated
• Cups not preheated
• Milk not heated enough (if making a cappuccino or latté)
• Coff ee is not tamped fi rmly enough
• Coff ee grind is too coarse
• Coff ee is not fresh
• Machine is not turned on
