10.8 Using the spatula

The spatula|30 is used to stir the ingredients
and to remove the cooking pot|28.
CAUTION:
~ The spatula|30 must not be used with
the mixer attachment|29 in place. Oth-
erwise, the spatula|30 might be caught
in the mixer attachment|29.
~ Do not use any other kitchen utensil to
stir the ingredients. The utensil might get
into the blades and cause damage.
• Always stir clockwise. The spatula|30
is designed such that when stirring
clockwise it cannot come into contact
with the blade assembly|27 even if that
is running.
The hook on the rear of the spatula|30 can
be used to remove the hot cooking pot|28
without having to touch it directly. Simply
hook on the metal bracket of the cooking
pot|28 and pull it out upwards.
