Cutting Unit Safety
•
Contact with the reel, bed knife, or other sharp objects may result in personal injury.
Keep hands and feet away.
•
Never perform adjustments or maintenance to the cutting units with the engine running.
•
Rotation of one reel may cause the other reels to rotate.
•
When removing a cutting unit blockage, hydraulic pressure or tension in the steel cutter reel may cause
the reel blades to rotate. Never use your hands or feet to remove a blockage.
•
When not mowing, always shut off the PTO to stop the reels.
•
Never raise the reels with the PTO engaged.
