System board
All system boards use the following part numbers:
xxxxxx-001: non-Windows operating systems
xxxxxx-601: Windows 10 operating system
Discrete memory 960 M 2 GB i7-6700HQ
Discrete memory 960 M 4 GB i7-6700HQ
Discrete memory 960 M 2 GB i5-6300HQ
Discrete memory 960 M 4 GB i5-6300HQ
USB board cable
IMPORTANT:
and replacement.
Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:

Battery (see

Optical drive (see
c.
Base enclosure (see
d.
Hard drive (see
e.
SSD (see
f.
Disconnect the WLAN cable (see
g.
Right speaker (see
h.
USB board (see
i.
Fan (see
j.
Heat sink for discrete graphics memory (see
k.
Left speaker (see
NOTE:
When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from the
defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:
WLAN module (see
Memory module (see
