Left speaker

Description
Speaker Kit (includes left and right speakers)
Before removing the speaker, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the following components:
a. Battery (see
b. Optical drive (see
c. Base enclosure (see
d. Disconnect the WLAN cable (see
e. Hard drive (see
f. SSD (see
g. Remove the fan (see
h. Remove the heat sink for discrete graphics memory (see

Remove the left speaker:
1. Carefully disconnect the left speaker cable (1) from the computer.
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0x4 screws (2) from the speaker.
