Remove the system board:
1. If they are not already disconnected, disconnect the following cables from the system board (note the
routing location of the cables when removing them):
NOTE: Use minimal force when lifting the locking bar up on a ZIF connector and disconnecting the
cable.
(1) USB ribbon cable
(2) WLAN cable
(3) Display cable
(4) Right speaker cable
(5)Touchpad cable
(6) Keyboard cable
(7) Backlight cable
(8) Power in connection cable
(9) Left speaker
(10) WLAN cable
2. Lift the USB board ribbon cable (1) to release it from the adhesive securing it to the computer.
3. Remove the Phillips M2.0 x 4.0 screw (2) securing the system board to the computer.
