Weekly wastewater test
• Fill test jar at the sampling cock.
• Compare the cloudiness with the
reference jar.
If the sample is clearer than the
reference cloudiness
Ü the filter is O.K.
If the sample is c loudier than t he
reference cloudiness
Ü the filter needs to be changed !
NOTE: Never pour any foreign li-
q uid in to th e p ressu re r elief
chamber! This can impair the filter
efficiency of the ÖWAMAT.
Checking of oil collector
• When the oil collector is ¾ full, it
should be replaced with another
one.
• The collected oil must be disposed
of as waste oil:
No oil discharge:
Depending upon the actual throughput
and the type of condensate, it may in
some cases be months before the oil
starts flowing into the collector. The
oil discharge w ill only start when a
sufficiently thick layer of oil has built
up inside the ÖWAMAT.
Water in the oil collector:
- Oil outflow is set too low (see 'Putting
into operation', page 16).
- ÖWAMAT is sometimes overloaded
Ü check compressor performan-
ce (see page 5).
Checking of level indicator
Level indicator has risen
• Clogged filter
Ü Check filter condition, change
filter if necessary.
• Obstruction in water outlet
Ü Clear the outlet.
• ÖWAMAT overloaded
Ü Check compressor perfor-
mance.
Checking for leaks
• Inspect hoses and connections,
tighten screws where necessary or
replace parts.
• Is the container in a good condition?
Contact the manufacturer in the
event of leakage.
