Rear Floor
1 ­ REAR FLOOR
2 ­ DRAWN LINE / SERVICE FLOOR PAN CUT LINE
3 ­ ORIGINAL FLOOR PAN CUT LINE
1. Draw a line (2) on the original and replacement floor pan, where indicated in the above diagram.
2. Cut the SERVICE PANEL at the line (2).
3. Cut the ORIGINAL FLOOR PAN 25 mm. (1 in.) rearward (3) of the original marked line (2).
4. Remove any coatings from both panels within 50 mm. (2 in.) of the cut edges.
5. Install the service panel, lapping OVER the original panel.
6. Pull the two panels together with temporary screws and adjust edges flush as required with hammer and dolly.
7. Stitch­weld the panels together (to avoid heat distortion) with lap welds on top and bottom. When complete, the cut
edges should be 100% welded except for the bottom side of the floor above the frame rail where weld access is not
available.
8. Ensure any additional damaged or removed weldments associated with the panel are restored to pre­accident con­
dition.
9. Remove the screws and weld holes shut.
10. Inject Moper Cavity wax kit (part #68042969AA), Mopar wax refill (part #68042970AA) or equivalent, to the inner
cavity. A double application should be applied. Allow a minimum of 30­minutes flash time between the first and
second coats.
