12. With the use of a small squeegee (1), or equivalent
start at the center of the decal and fan out to the edges
using firm overlapping strokes. Repeat until entire de­
cal section area has been completed.
NOTE: Extra care should be taken while removing the
premask in pointed areas of the decal, as the corners
may want to lift
13. Remove the premask (1) by pulling it slowly back at a
180° angle.
14. If lifting of any of the decal (2) does occur STOP. Lay
premask back into position and resqueegee.
15. Wait a moment and attempt to remove the premask
(1) again.
16. Once premask (1) is removed, inspect the entire decal
section for air bubbles.
17. If air bubbles / pockets do not exist continue to Post Decal Application
.
18. Squeegee the bubble to the closest edge. If the bub­
ble does not move easily continue to the next step.
NOTE: Care should be taken not to pierce the paint.
Apply only enough pressure to penetrate the decal
surface.
19. Use a pin, needle (1) or equivalent to penetrate the
decal. Poke the pin through the center of the bubble
(2).
