9 Direct positioning screen
When you specify the PAN/TILT angle by
clicking the coordinate on the screen, the
orientation of the camera lens changes
accordingly.
The currently specified location is indicated
by the yellow-green box.
PAN
PAN: 0° - 360°
TILT: -5° - 185°
Note:
• The direct positioning function is available
only in the following cases.
Option board type: VA-82LAN
Firmware of camera: Ver. 1.08-00 or
higher
The startup screen shows the firmware
version number during the startup of the
camera.
• Provided that the Auto Flip function is set
on the camera, the lens position (shown as
the yellow-green box) starts moving
upward from below the centerline when
you click the [MEMORY] button for [Preset
Position] located on the camera controller;
this is quite a normal operation while the
Auto Flip function is enabled.
F Close button
Closes the camera controller.

The configuration menu
Moves the cursor up/down in the
configuration menu.
Moves the cursor to the left/right in
the configuration menu or changes
the setting value.
Switches to the next screen or
confirms the setting value specified.
Note:
• This operation is only available for the
cameras that have one of the following types
of option board installed:
VA-20/50/51/80/82LAN
• "Camera Menu Setup" operating privilege is
required (see page 32-6).
• The menus displayed depend on the camera
model. For details, refer to the instruction
manual supplied with the camera.
