MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Regular maintenance will extend your tiller's service life.
To prevent the machine being started accidentally, disconnect the spark plug cap.
CAUTION:
Use genuine Honda parts or equivalent parts only when carrying out maintenance or repairs.
•
The tiller could be damaged if you use spare parts which are not of at least equivalent quality.
The engine and the exhaust pipe become hot during operation and reach temperatures high
•
enough to cause burns or cause a fire if there are flammable materials nearby. Allow the
engine to cool for 15 minutes before performing any maintenance work.
Switch off the engine before performing any maintenance operation. The exhaust fumes
•
contain carbon monoxide which is a toxic gas that can cause fainting or fatal accidents. If it
is necessary to run the engine, make sure there is adequate ventilation.

(1) Perform maintenance on the air filter more frequently when used in dusty environments.
(2) These operations must be performed by an authorized dealer, unless the owner has the appropriate tools and the
technical skills required. See the Honda workshop manual for maintenance procedures.
(3) Change the engine oil every 50 hours in case of severe operating loads or high ambient temperatures.
