2.2 SYSTEM FUNCTIONS

This section describes the system functions possible on the Exchange. The behaviour and
availability of some functions depends on which devices make up the system and their
programming.
When the Exchange is idle ( no conversation is in progress and there are no unanswered
calls in the queue ) one can:

Call an IU
●
Switch on an EP or a camera
●
Command the EP electric door lock
●
Switch on the lights
●
Activate the relays
●
Set the DAY/NIGHT operation of the system or the individual EP

2.2.1 Commands with the dedicated buttons

To select the device to which the command will be sent:
● Type the device system code directly ( if known )
● Select the device from those saved in the IU or EP directoryes
Switch on a camera, the master
EP or activate a relay
Command the master EP electric
door lock
Switch on the staircase light
