    Terraneo INTRODUCTION WARNINGS AND TIPS Before proceeding with the installation read this manual carefully, because the guarantee will be automatically cancelled as a result of negligence, incorrect operation, improper use or tampering with the circuit by unauthorised people. The switchboard can be installed on the wall or on a table using the inclined base supplied. In video door entry units, the video section item 334402 can be fitted by the side of the switchboard to allow the display of the entrance panel (EP) from which the call has been made.

    Digital system INTRODUCTION Keypad For some functions the keypad can type both numbers and letters. To do this press the same button several times. As an example on pressing button 2 A-B-C-2 appears on the display in succession; pressing a different button the display cursor moves to the next letter. To type letters of the same button in sequence, move the display cursor to the next letter using the button as shown in the example.

    Digital system 2.3 ALARM SIGNALS 2.3.1 Signals from IU The porter Switchboard can receive 3 types of alarm from the apartments: PANIC ALARM this signal has priority over all other Exchange functions. When there is a panic alarm the Exchange can only call the IU which has generated the alarm, cancel the alarm or receive a new panic alarm signal.

    Digital system PROGRAMMING This chapter is intended for trained personnel who will program the porter Switchboard after its installation using guided menus shown on the display which can be accessed from the main menu. The user can use these functions to vary some Exchange settings (e.g.: language, secret code, date/time, etc.).

A description can be associated with each signal and origin to help the operator identify the situation which has generated the signal.
