13.3.1 AUTO
ADAPT
The AUTO
control mode continuously adapts the pump

When the AUTO
control mode has been enabled, the pump
ADAPT
will start with the factory setting, H
approx. 55 % of its maximum head, and then adjust its
performance to A
. See fig. 21.

When the pump registers a lower head on the max. curve, A
AUTO
function will automatically select a correspondingly
ADAPT
lower control curve, H
. If the valves in the system close, the

auto_min
The AUTO
control mode is a form of proportional-pressure
ADAPT
control where the control curves have a fixed origin, H
The AUTO
control mode has been developed specifically
ADAPT
for heating systems and is not recommended for air-conditioning
and cooling systems.

13.3.3 Proportional pressure
The pump head is reduced at decreasing water demand and
increased at rising water demand. See fig. 23.
The setpoint can be set within the range from 1 meter (3.28 ft) to
approx. 1 meter (3.28 ft) below the maximum head, depending on
pump type.
