1) Set the stitch dial to 0 [zero].
2) 2) Turn the handwheel and loosen screw 1 in the needle bar bracket to adjust so that the distance from the upper
end of needle eyelet of needle 2 to blade point 3 of the hook is dimension A when the needle bar is raised by 2.1
mm from the lowest position of its stroke. Then tighten the screw again. (For opening/closing the face plate, refer to
"5. LUBRICATION".
3) Turn the handwheel to make the needle bar ascend by 2.1 mm from the lowest position of its stroke. For the DNU-
1541,DNU-1541H, loosen two setscrews 4 in the hook and turn the hook so that blade point 3 of the hook is almost
aligned with the center of needle 2 . Then tighten two setscrews 4 in the hook. For the DNU-1541S, loosen two
setscrews 5 in the hook driving shaft gear and turn the handwheel to adjust. Then tighten two setscrews 4 .
4) Loosen two setscrews 4 in the hook and move the hook to the right or left until a clearance of 0.02 to 0.05 mm is
provided between the blade point of the hook and the needle at the position where blade point 3 of the hook is
almost aligned with the center of needle 2 . For the DNU-1514S, however, adjust the screw No. 1 having a V-shaped
top end of two setscrews 4 to V-groove on the hook shaft portion and tighten it.

2) Das Handrad drehen, und die Schraube 1 im Nadelstangenhalter lösen, um die Einstellung so vorzunehmen, dass
der Abstand zwischen dem oberen Ende des Nadelöhrs der Nadel 2 und der Blattspitze 3 des Greifers dem Maß A
entspricht, wenn die Nadelstange vom Tiefpunkt ihres Hubs um 2,1 mm angehoben wird. Dann die Schraube wieder
anziehen. (Angaben zum Öffnen/Schließen der Stirnplatte unter "5. SCHMIERUNG".)
3) Das Handrad drehen, um die Nadelstange um 2,1 mm von der Tiefstposition ihres Hubs anzuheben. Bei der DNU-
1541,DNU-1541H die zwei Feststellschrauben 4 im Greifer lösen, und den Greifer so drehen, dass seine Blattspitze
3 nahezu auf die Mitte der Nadel 2 ausgerichtet ist. Dann die zwei Feststellschrauben 4 im Greifer anziehen. Bei
der DNU-1541S die zwei Feststellschrauben 5 im Greiferantriebswellenrad lösen, und das Handrad zur Einstellung
drehen. Dann die zwei Feststellschrauben 5 wieder anziehen.
4) Die zwei Feststellschrauben 4 im Greifer lösen, und den Greifer nach rechts oder links bewegen, bis ein Abstand
von 0,02 bis 0,05 mm zwischen der Greiferblattspitze und der Nadel an der Position besteht, an der die Blattspitze 3
des Greifers nahezu auf die Mitte der Nadel 2 ausgerichtet ist. Bei der DNU-1541S muss jedoch die Schraube Nr.
1 der beiden Feststellschrauben 4 mit V-förmigem Kopf auf die Keilnut am Greiferwellenabschnitt ausgerichtet und
angezogen werden.

2) Tourner le volant et desserrer la vis 1 du support de barre à aiguille pour que la distance entre le haut du chas de
l'aiguille 2 et la pointe de la lame 3 du crochet soit la distance A lorsque la barre à aiguille est remontée de 2,1
mm par rapport au point le plus bas de sa course. Resserrer ensuite la vis. (Pour l'ouverture/fermeture de la plaque
frontale, voir "5. LUBRIFICATION").
3) Tourner le volant pour remonter la barre à aiguille de 2,1 mm par rapport au point le plus bas de sa course. Pour la
DNU-1541,DNU-1541H, desserrer les deux vis de fi xation 4 du crochet et tourner celui-ci de façon que la pointe de
sa lame 3 soit presque en regard de l'axe de l'aiguille 2 . Serrer ensuite les deux vis de fi xation 4 du crochet. Pour
la DNU-1541S, desserrer les deux vis de fi xation 5 du pignon d'arbre de commande de crochet et tourner le volant
pour le réglage. Resserrer ensuite les deux vis de fi xation 5 .
4) Desserrer les deux vis de fi xation 4 du crochet et déplacer celui-ci à droite ou à gauche pour obtenir un jeu de 0,02
à 0,05 mm entre la pointe de sa lame et l'aiguille sur la position où la pointe de la lame 3 du crochet est presque en
regard de l'axe de l'aiguille 2 . Toutefois, pour la DNU-1514S, régler la vis n° 1 (celle des deux vis de fi xation 4 qui a
une tête en V) sur la gorge en V de l'arbre de crochet et la serrer.
