PTA (On/Off)

Power Trim Assist, which adjusts trim angle automati-
cally according to engine speed (RPM), can be turned
on and off. PTA settings can be calibrated according
to preferences other than default. For additional infor-
mation, please see PTA Calibration on page 163.
NOTICE! PTA must be turned off before taking the
boat out of the water. This prevents auto-
matic trimming of the drive(s) if any test
runs are performed while the boat is on
land.
Settings for each engine must be done independently
of one another in a twin installation.
These instructions are a continuation of the section
entitled Entering the Settings Menu on page 154.
Use the BACK BUTTON 5 at any time to return to the
previous menu. Use the SELECTION WHEEL 10 to
locate the PTA SETTINGS menu.
5. Press the SELECTION WHEEL to enter
PTA ON/OFF.
6. Turn the SELECTION WHEEL to select PTA ON
or PTA OFF and confirm by pushing the SELEC-
TION WHEEL.

trol levers are in neutral positions, can be turned on

the boat. For twin installations: The setting only needs
to be performed on either display on each station.
These instructions are a continuation of the section
entitled Entering the Settings Menu on page 154.
