Acknowledging Alarms and Messages

The engine(s) will not start unless an alarm is ac-
knowledged.
If there is a depth alarm pop-up it will reappear every
30 seconds until the depth exceeds the depth alarm
set point.
Alarms of more serious faults and depth alarms are
accompanied by a buzzer.
1. Silence the buzzer by pushing the SELECTION
WHEEL 10 on the control panel.
2. Read the alarm/message pop-up.
3. Take the indicated actions.
A fault pop-up alternates between "source of fault/
cause of fault" and "recommended actions to
take." Please refer to Fault Register on page 151.
4. Acknowledge the pop-up by pushing the SELEC-
TION WHEEL on the control panel (sometimes
repeatedly). The pop-up will disappear.
Unattended faults will result in new fault pop-ups every
time the system is powered up or when the engines
are started.
